All Souls Church

The parish church of All Souls was consecrated by Archbishop Benson on 3rd January 1895. The dedication had been inspired by the desire of the  vicar at the time, Rev R E Johnstone to help the population of Cheriton Street to grow into a community, the Church helping "all souls" to realise the love of God.

All details of our three church's activities can now be found on our website. Click here to find out more.

The parish of Cheriton Street: All Souls is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
