St Edmund's, Allenton and Shelton Lock

A CHURCH FOR EVERYONE.

This summer, as part of a revitalisation project in the Diocese of Derby, we’re getting ready to re-launch St Edmund’s church. St Edmund’s church has been at the heart of the Shelton Lock and Allenton community for generations. We’re hoping to honour all that has come before and to continue playing our part in serving this community. Whether you’re non-religious, a little bit curious, or wanting to get stuck right in, everyone is invited to come and find community here at St. Ed’s church.

Follow us on our new Facebook and Instagram pages to stay up-to-date with this new chapter for St Ed's Church.

Safeguarding

The parish of Allenton & Shelton Lock: St Edmund is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
