St James Parish Church, Gorton

We are a friendly church in the heart of Gorton. All are welcome, whether you have a strong Christian faith, or are just starting to explore what faith in Jesus Christ might mean for you. Please just come along if you would just like to sit, reflect or talk to someone.

We are in a joint benefice with Emmanuel Church West Gorton and have a local ecumenical partnership with the Methodist Church.

Our Minister is Rev Carol Masters.

You can contact her on

[email protected].

St James is open on Tuesday mornings at 10.30 for a short communion service. This is a lovely time to have some quietness and reflection in the middle of the week.

We also hold a service on Sunday morning at 10.15. This may be communion or morning prayer. The 4th Sunday is led by a Methodist minister and the 5th Sunday in the month is a team service with Emmanuel Church. The venue alternates on the 5th Sunday.
