St Paul's Church Monton

We would love to welcome you to worship with us at St Paul's Church in Monton where our Sunday Morning Service starts at 9:30am. On most Sundays  the service is a celebration of Holy Communion, occasionally it is a Morning Service (without communion) ~ either way the church is open and ready to welcome you to join us. The church can be found on Egerton Road, Monton M30 9LR

We are now in Holy Week, our special services include:

MAUNDY THURSDAY 28th March 2024: we invite you to join us for the Eccles Team Of Churches Maundy Thursday Service at nearby Christ Church on Liverpool Road in Patricroft starting at 7:30pm which will be followed by the opportunity for fellowship over light refreshments.

GOOD FRIDAY 29th March 2024 there are services for Good Friday Devotions at 11:15am at St Andrew's Eccles and at 2pm at St Mary's Eccles Parish Church and Christ Church, Patricroft

Churches Together Walk Of Witness: we meet outside Monton Methodist Church on Grange Drive in Monton M30 9JG for 6:45pm on Good Friday, 29th March 2024, to carry the cross in a silent procession to St Andrew's Church on Chadwick Road in Eccles M30 0NZ

EASTER DAY Sunday, 31st March 2024: Holy Communion for Easter Day at 9:30am

The Parent and Toddler Group usually meets in the Community Room on a Wednesday and Friday Mornings during term time under the caring leadership of Joyce and Tony Checkley.

We meet outside Monton Methodist Church on Grange Drive in Monton M30 9JG for 6:45pm on Good Friday, 29th March 2024, to carry the cross in a silent procession to St Andrew's Church on Chadwick Road in Eccles M30 0NZ for a short service of hymns and prayers on this most sacred day in the church's calendar. Non-walkers are welcome to head straight to St Andrew's and join us there for 7:15pm.

We welcome Rev’d Jez Wisdom who has joined the Eccles Team Ministry. Jez has come to complete his time of curacy which, up until now, has been served in North Manchester.
