St Ive Church

Our Church is having a regular Service on the third Sunday of every month. We would love to be able to open more often but for this to happen at St Ive we are going to need people to come forward and take responsibility for the day to day activities of the Church. That would involve opening and closing the church, setting up for services, arranging readers, arranging organists, checking the sound system, taking the plate collection, changing the colours etc and clearing up afterwards. We also need people to organise fund raising events and many other activities that take place in the church from time to time. If you live locally and have some time to spare and would like to see the church take a more active roll in the community please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.

The parish of St Ive and Pensilva is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Truro’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
