Welcome to St Mary's

There has been a church on this site since 1090, although the present church building dates back to the late 1200s to early 1300s.

As an ancient parish church that has been at the heart of the village for nearly 800 years, the building has soaked up the prayers of countless people through the ages. When we enter through the door we become part of that tradition of prayer and worship and our prayers too, soak into the stones.
