St Francis, Heartsease (Norwich)

Church at the heart of the community with the community at its heart - currently in Vacancy

All are welcome here.

Based on Rider Haggard Road, the church building is just a short walk from both Heartsease Primary Academy and Open Academy.

We are told that we are a friendly and welcoming church, and we hope that you will find that to be true.

As Christ’s Church set in the middle of the parish we seek to serve, we are working out how to love God and love our neighbours as we love ourselves – please come and see for yourself if we are succeeding!

Sunday Holy Communion: 11:00 am

The Good News Café in NextDoor@St Francis [94 Rider Haggard Rd] is open to all every Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 10am – 12pm.

Also open at these times is our church fundraising shop, ‘Ancient & Modern’ – something for everyone at bargain prices!

The parish of Heartsease: St Francis is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
