The Annual Drayton St Leonard Church Fête weekend will start on Saturday 29 June 2024 with the Celebration of Summer Flower Festival opening at 09:30am. The Fête itself runs from 1pm to 4:30pm in the Peace Field next to the playground, roughly opposite the pub, and close to the church. For free parking follow the signs down the drive to Manor Farm off Stadhampton Road on the way to Drayton View. The Fête events close at 4:30pm, the Flower Festival closes at dusk when the church is closed. 
On Sunday 30 June 2024 the "Celebration of Summer Flower Festival, Music Event and Service" opens with the second day of the Flower Festival at 09:30, and the Music and Service running from 10:30 to around 11:30. The Musicians are talented villagers or local. The Church Bells will ring and the organ played.
From Noon to 2pm the Duck Race at the Ford will be followed by a Tug-of-War over the Thame, if a volunteer can be found to run it.
The church benefits from a skilled team of flower artists who decorate the church throughout the year. They and other invited arrangers will be accepting bids for flower arrangements throughout the weekend, winners can collect their flowers between 5:30pm and 6:30pm on Sunday. The church will be closed at dusk as usual. 
The Great Drayton St Leonard Church Fête Raffle tickets are now available to purchase with the star prize a voucher towards Lunch for 2 at Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons and many more prizes. Buy your tickets on line through the below link. Just £1 a ticket or £10 for a book of 10 tickets. Raffle tickets will also be sold Door-to Door and at the Fête on Saturday before the draw.
Entry to the Fête is by purchasing a Lucky Programme sold at the gates, either at the playground entrance or at the Car park entrance. Many events are not covered in this summary page, the Lucky Programme contains full details of the weekend's events.
Lucky Ducks for the Sunday Duck Race have to be bought before the Fête ends on Saturday, to allow the ducks prep time to preen themselves and get quacking.
Bids for the Flower Arrangements will be accepted in church during the Flower Festival, to be collected there Sunday afternoon.
