St Michael and All Angels Church is a beautiful 14th century Grade 2* listed building situated in the Gloucestershire village of Eastington. It is set in a picturesque area, next to open countryside with the river Frome and canal nearby.

At the heart of the community, the Church offers regular services including festival and remembrance services, special celebrations such as Weddings and Christenings and is regularly used by the Primary School, a theatre company, many other non-worshiping groups and as a collection centre for those in need.

Unfortunately, a recent survey has shown that the church roof is now in a critical condition with water ingress causing further damage to the roof timbers.

ECRA has been formed to raise the estimated £300,000 cost of completely replacing the existing roof. The new roof will protect this wonderful listed Church for future generations for the next hundred years and beyond!

The Vibrant Village of the year award in 2010 shows that Eastington can deliver so let’s do it again and preserve one our most treasured buildings.

Could you help and have a part in preserving the church’s history for the future? Could you do anything, big or small? If that’s a YES then we would love to hear from you.
