Rockland Benefice in the Bramerton Group

Welcome to the Rockland parishes!

Our calling is to serve and share God's love with communities and visitors in a beautiful area just south of Norwich. Situated along the bank of the River Yare between Whitlingham and Carleton St. Peter, the area abounds with wildlife, includes a national cycling route and Wherryman's Way. Our small, atmospheric medieval churches are in peaceful locations and warmly welcome visitors daily.

A unique feature is the Barn at Rockland Rectory, a place for quiet refreshment, spirituality training and the arts.

Please contact us if you would like to plan your visit, or to discuss the possibility of having a christening or wedding in one of our churches.

The Rockland Benefice is part of the Bramerton Group ministry.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Mrs Leo Smith (01508 493695 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Sue Brice ( 01603 882345). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
