Getting here

You are very welcome to our medieval church of St Margaret in Garvestone. The Church lies on the main road at the edge of the village near the school and village hall. Parking is available on the road outside the church, and in the village hall car park. In winter bring a torch as there are no street lights. The church has no toilet unfortunately. Refreshments are usually served after services.

St Margaret’s Church is part of the Barnham Broom and Upper Yare Team of Parishes: a Group of 13 parishes with 15 churches. We are a rural church dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving the community. Worship takes place once a month on average, but on the first Sunday of each month all the village communities join together for worship in one of our church buildings for a Group Service.
