Accessibility

There is an accessible for all toilet in Church

Baby Changing facilities in the disabled toilet in the Community Hall

There are accessible toilets in both the Church and the Community Hall

There is a public telephone in the Community Hall

We have built a ramped entrance to Church and to the Community Hall

We can photocopy hymns etc. in large print if required

Guide and Hearing dogs are welcome in both Church and the
Community Hall.

Music and Worship

We have a pipe organ which was installed when the church was first built in 1904. We are lucky to have an accomplished organist to play it!

We have an accomplished 16 strong choir. They sing in four part harmony and are available for weddings, funerals, celebrations if required

At the back of Church

We haven’t a cafe, but we have a bar which is open for all on Tuesday night from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. It is also available to hire on its own or with the hall for a function.


Other Features

We have collection boxes for the local food bank at the back of church

We have Hunters’ Bar in the Hall which can be hired for various functions, i.e. Birthday Parties, Christening Parties, Weddings, Funerals etc. We have a stage, large enough to put on Shows (our Operatic and Dramatic Society are performing The Addams Family this year). We regularly hold concerts, we have hosted The Hoghton Weavers, Bobby Ball, The Uptown Band.
