St. John's is in Charfield, a parish in Gloucestershire near Wotton-under-Edge and easily accessible from the M5, junction 14.
Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at 9.30 am, the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month being particularly child- and family-friendly. Refreshments are served after every Sunday service. On every 5th Sunday there is a Benefice service (details on application or see church noticeboard). There is teaa and coffee for all every Friday at 2.15, followed by Children's Choir and Club (during term time) at 3 pm. A home study group meets fortnightly and every Wednesday morning the Sinner and Slimmers meet to compare weight loss progress. Jumble sale and plant sale details will appear in the diary.
Occasional services are held in the old parish church of St. James - candle-lit in winter.
