Following the news of the death of our Sovereign, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our heartfelt condolences go out to all members of the Royal Family.Many will want to express tribute to her extraordinary life as one who has touched the lives of countless people and who has united people in life as now in death.Opportunities for personal prayer and condolence as well as corporate commemorative events will be announced in preparation for the state funeral.
Each year, the Minster is required to hold an annual meeting where those on the church's district roll of members elect their representatives to serve on the District Church Council (DCC) for the coming year.The Meeting will seek to elect representatives for the Deanery Synod and the Parochial Church Council (PCC).It will also consider a report on the activities of the church over the previous calendar year.Please note that financial statements (consolidated for the parish) are presented at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting which takes place within four weeks of the Annual District Meeting.
