Originally built as a chapel of ease, the Church of St John the Baptist services the small village of Dorton as well as acting as chapel to the neighbouring Ashfold School.
St John the Baptist Church is part of the Bernwode Benefice.
We hold two services a month
- 1st Sunday: All Age (4pm)
- 3rd Sunday: All Age Holy Communion (4pm)
There are also services on the major festivals.
