Retiring collection for the work of the Friends of St George, Tombland
On Friday there is a low mass at 10 a.m. at St George's Tombland.
May 11th 2:30 pm The annual Wisteria Quiz for Christian Aid at St Giles-on-the-Hill. Tickets £7.00, includes tea. (Doors open at 2:00 pm)
Stephen Dunn is organising the Tombland team for this, and we have a reputation to maintain. No need to book: just turn up on the day.
Our main Sunday Eucharist, with incense, music and hymns.
Coffee is served after the service.

Please do not attend if you are unwell. On roughly alternate weeks this service is livestreamed on Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person. On other weeks the 9.30 service from Colegate is available.

The annual Archbishop Matthew Parker Preachment takes place at St Clement's Church, Fye Bridge, founded as an annual event by Archbishop Matthew Parker (1504-1575) in memory of his parents who are buried in the churchyard at St Clement's.
Evensong, 3pm.
This year's preacher is Bishop Matthew Parker, Bishop of Stafford! The service approximates to what Archbishop Parker and his parents would have known.
We will all gather at St Giles at 10.30 a.m. on this festival day, to celebrate as Annie is licensed as Assistant Priest to the Benefice of Colegate and Tombland and the Parish of St Giles-on-the-.Hill by the Venerable Keith James, Archdeacon of Norwich. There will be no services at St George Colegate or St George Tombland this day to enable people to join in celebration for and with Annie.
On the fifth sunday of the month we have a Eucharist that draws all three congregations together at one church. The time depends on which church we are gathering in (9.30, 10.30 or 11 a.m.).
