The Friends of St Mary's is a registered Charity whose purpose is to raise funds for the upkeep of St Mary's Church, Standon. This beautiful Grade 1 listed building dates from the 12th century and is in constant need of care. The tomb of Sir Ralph Sadleir, who was employed by three kings (Henry VIII, Edward VI and Elizabeth I), lies in the Chancel and has recently been restored. We raise funds with a programme of events.

At the Standon Mayday on Monday 6th May the Friends will run a tea room with cakes in the village hall. Do come and support it!
The FOSM AGM will be held in St Mary's on Friday 24th May at 7.30pm.
