Home and Fellowship Groups

At St Barnabas we believe that to be a fruitful, growing disciple of Jesus Christ we need to grow in community, friendship and faith during the week. We do this by being part of a group who worship, study the bible and pray for each other. We have a great variety of groups for all generations who meet during the day and in the evenings. These groups are by far the best way to go deeper in relationship with God and with each other.

Alpha

“Christianity is not about religion. It’s about faith, about being held, about being forgiven. It’s about finding joy and finding home." - Bear Grylls

Alpha is an opportunity to explore the questions of life in an informal and friendly environment. Alpha is free and consists of a series of talks on subjects such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'How and why do I pray?' And then there's discussion in small groups. It's a great way to meet new friends.
